About the Role

The Director of Sales and Marketing position at Holiday Inn Kingston-Waterfront is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth and maximizing sales efforts. As a seasoned sales professional, you will lead a dynamic sales team, develop and implement marketing strategies, and collaborate with the General Manager to achieve sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing plan to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Lead a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure team members are equipped to meet sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to establish pricing and selling strategies, and work together to maximize sales and profits.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hotel partners, suppliers, and industry associations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform sales and marketing strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales forecasts.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of brand marketing programs, ensuring alignment with regional and national marketing initiatives.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Hotel Management Studies or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the hotel industry, with a proven track record of sales leadership and revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed business decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
