The Role

The Director of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy, leading a dynamic sales team, and coordinating all marketing initiatives to achieve established sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a marketing plan and budget to achieve established sales objectives
  • Manage turnover and work in parallel with the General Manager to maximize sales and profits
  • Provide the team with resources, training, coaching, and moral support to achieve sales goals
  • Coach and energize the sales force to create a sales culture within the team
  • Act as a coach who challenges and empowers the team to drive revenue growth
  • Participate in internal and external business activities and lead the managers of different market segments
  • Implement brand marketing programs and maximize regional and national resources
  • Provide overall hotel marketing leadership with revenue generation initiatives and ROI controls
  • Establish public relations links in various markets and ensure the representation of the hotel in the community
  • Ensure teamwork with department heads as a sales and marketing specialist
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required
Competencies We Are Seeking
  • Diploma in Hotel Management Studies
  • Previous 3-year professional experience in the hotel market, including at least two years as Sales Director or at a higher level
  • Sales Leadership
  • Leadership and dynamism of the sales team
  • Demonstrated experience in achieving revenue goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth knowledge of computer programs
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
  • Dynamic temperament and exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Effective and creative leadership with a high level of professionalism
  • Strong skills in human resources management and administration
  • Knowledge of automated sales systems
