Clinical Administrative Coordinator for Healthcare Programs

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver administrative assistance by composing various technical and non-technical documents, including medical reports, policy updates, reference letters, schedules, labels, correspondence, forms, and spreadsheets.
- Create, format, and enhance materials graphically, ensuring timely delivery to the originator.
- Draft and sign standard correspondence.
- Organize meetings for medical personnel by scheduling appointments, securing meeting spaces, notifying relevant staff, and preparing and distributing agendas; attend meetings to document discussions, prepare minutes, and circulate them to committee members.
- Establish and maintain filing systems.
- Assist in the education and evaluation of students and residents.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for designated staff by liaising with travel agencies, confirming travel details, obtaining itineraries, and compiling information for approval.
Qualifications
- Completion of Grade 12, graduation from a recognized secretarial program, including a course in medical transcription, along with three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient typing skills at a minimum of 50 words per minute.
- Competence in operating related office equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills to manage workload efficiently.
- Physical capability to perform the duties of the role.
