About This Opportunity

The Distribution Center Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Distribution Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our warehouse operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze delivery reports to identify trends and areas for improvement, coordinate driver route selection, and investigate and resolve missing deliveries.
  • Act as a timekeeper for unionized employees, accurately recording and validating timecards in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering incoming phone calls, greeting visitors, and responding to inquiries from employees, vendors, and the general public.
  • Support administrative tasks such as booking meeting rooms, coordinating catering, and distributing mail, as well as receiving and sending courier packages.
  • Contribute to the analysis and reporting of financial and operational data to inform business decisions.
  • Coordinate vendor communications and payment processes.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business administration or a related field is an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a business administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in various computer programs, including Microsoft Office, SAP, and other relevant software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience processing invoices, reconciling statements, and supporting senior management and leadership teams is beneficial.
