About This Opportunity

The Distribution Center Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Distribution Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our logistics operations, ensuring that our products are delivered to customers on time and in full.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze delivery reports to identify trends and areas for improvement, and coordinate driver route selection to optimize delivery efficiency.
  • Enter and validate timecards for unionized employees, ensuring compliance with our collective bargaining agreement.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering incoming phone calls, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support administrative tasks such as booking meeting rooms, coordinating catering, and distributing mail, as well as receiving and sending courier packages.
  • Assist with financial and operating analytics, including data entry and reporting.
  • Coordinate vendor communications and payment processing.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business administration or a related field is an asset.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a business administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of computer programs such as Word, Excel, and SAP.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience processing invoices, reconciling statements, and supporting senior management and leadership teams is beneficial.
