Job Summary: Business Development Representative - HalifaxWe are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Representative to join our growing team in Halifax. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to expand our client base within the region.
Responsibilities:- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within various industry sectors.
- Develop and implement effective sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and customer needs.
- Present HSB's products and services in a compelling and informative manner.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales within the insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of property and casualty insurance products and services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
