Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Lewisstores. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our organization, focusing on recruitment, talent management, and industrial relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Selection: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, manage the entire recruitment process, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Talent Management: Design and implement talent management programs to identify, develop, and retain high-potential employees, ensuring a strong pipeline of future leaders.
  • Industrial Relations: Provide expert advice and support on industrial relations matters, including labor law compliance, collective bargaining, and conflict resolution.
  • Employee Onboarding: Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure a smooth transition for new employees, including orientation, training, and integration into the team.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries, benefits, and other employee entitlements.
  • HR Systems and Processes: Develop and maintain HR systems and processes to ensure efficient and effective HR service delivery, including HRIS, performance management, and employee engagement.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field, and a certificate in HR or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in HR, with a strong background in recruitment, talent management, and industrial relations.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Qualifications: A valid code 08 driving license and the ability to represent the company at the CCMA.
