About the Role

The Proposal Engineer - Distribution Transformers will be responsible for managing the end-to-end commercial and technical proposals for customers in the USA and Canada. This includes creating offers in the CRM system, costing, reviewing commercial and technical specifications, pricing, and other activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers, sales agents, business development managers, and factories to offer competitive technical and commercial proposals.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including booking orders in the system and supporting the sales organization as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure proposals are competitive and aligned with customer needs.

Requirements

  • Electrical or mechanical engineer with a minimum of 3 years of technical and/or commercial experience in technical sales or marketing.
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent organizational skills and strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using personal computers and software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows.
  • Ability to build relationships, negotiate, and drive results.
