About the Role:

The Workers' Safety & Compensation Commission of the NWT & Nunavut is seeking a highly skilled Business Process Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in promoting workplace health and safety while providing no-fault insurance to employers and care for injured workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead business consulting activities to drive process improvements and enhance business performance.
  • Analyze and deliver initiatives to optimize business processes and operations.
  • Document, plan, and ensure the successful completion of complex projects with significant business impact and risk.
  • Assist in the development of project and portfolio planning exercises for the WSCC.
  • Support the WSCC's Mission, Vision, and Values by ensuring services are optimized and value-adding processes.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in business management, information technology, financial management, or a similar relevant field.
  • Four (4) years of project management, business analysis, or consulting experience.
  • Certification in Lean/Six Sigma, BPM, or Project Management (PRINCE2 or PMP) would be considered an asset.
  • The ability to translate complex technical information into plain language.
