About the Role:
Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our team in the Giant Mine Remediation Project. As a key member of our Critical Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for managing the project from design to close-out, ensuring timely completion, and meeting budget and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructability inputs.
- Manage project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Develop and implement project plans, including risk management and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project progress.
- Monitor and report on project performance, including cost, schedule, and quality metrics.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with the Construction Manager and Senior Project Manager to resolve issues and make decisions.
- Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, including the client.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, construction management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects, including heavy civil, mining, or remediation projects.
- Knowledge of industry practices, regulations, and current technologies.
- Professional designations, such as PMP, PE, or CET, are an asset.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
