Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fashion Design Coordinator to join our team at Shivroop Textile Inc. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality textiles and coordinating the design process from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Staff: Lead and mentor a team of designers, apprentices, and stages hands to ensure the successful completion of design projects.
  • Design and Development: Collaborate with designers to create innovative and visually appealing textile designs, including settings, scenic environments, costumes, and lighting.
  • Exhibit and Display Design: Plan and develop permanent and temporary exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces, and other exhibitions.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in textile design, exhibit design, or a related field.
  • Skills: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, flexible, initiative, judgement, organized, reliable, team player.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English.
