We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Security Guards to join our team in the Industrial sector near Portage la Prairie, St Leon, and Manitou. As a Security Guard with GardaWorld, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' assets, tenants, and visitors.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $20.00 per hour
  • Shifts: Monday to Sunday (1800-0600)
  • Reliable transportation reimbursement: $0.55 per KM to the site and from
  • Shelter pay: $4 per hour (12-hour shift)
  • Meal expense: $15

  • A complete uniform

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Patrol the site, deter crime, and trespassers
  • Report all events at the site and submit an end-of-shift report with photos
  • RCMP will be your emergency contact
  • Check two locations during the shift: St. Leon and Manitou
  • Enforce property regulations and city bylaws on the client's site
  • Protect client assets from theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues
  • Complete daily reports and incident reports
  • Provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid Class 5 Full Driving License
  • Previous experience in the security industry (an asset)
  • Valid Manitoba Security Guard License
  • Team player with leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment
  • First aid certification (an asset)
  • Reliable vehicle for transportation to and from work
