**Are you ready to suit up?**:
We are looking for Temporary Full time and Part-Time Security guards to work in the Industrial sector near Portage la prairie, St Leon and Manitou for 6 months. As a member of the GardaWorld team, your primary role is to ensure the safety and security of client assets, tenants and visitors to the assignment area in a professional and courteous manner.

We provide people with growth opportunities. 30% of our frontline employees are promoted to become part of our operation teams.

- Open Shifts: Monday to Sunday ( 1800-0600)
- Pay:$ 20.00 per hour
- $0.45 per KM to the site and from
- $3.5 per hr. shelter pay (12 hr shift)
- $10 meal expense

**What does a Security Guard in Portage la prairie, St Leon and Manitou do?**:

- Maintain a safe and Secure environment
- Patrol the site, deter crime and trespassers.
- RCMP will be your emergency contact.
- Security guard will check 2 locations during the shift: St. Leon and Manitou
- Enforce Property regulations and city Bi
- Laws on the client's site.
- Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
- Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports.
- Provide Excellent customer service.

**Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Portage la Prairie, St Leon and Manitou**:

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must have valid Class 5 Full Driving license
- Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
- Valid Manitoba Security Guard license
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to prolonged patrols
- First aid will be beneficial
- Must have a reliable vehicle to get to and from work and be able to drive in inclement weather.
- Must be consistent for same shifts for 6 months.
- Customer service oriented
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a stressful environment
