About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Apartment Building Maintenance Professional to join our team at Touchstone Enterprise Ltd. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Cleaning: Regularly sweep, mop, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Waste Management: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris, and empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Appliance Maintenance: Perform minor repairs on appliances and ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Safety and Security: Conduct regular safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of residents and staff.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair, and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 35-40 hours per week.
