About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Apartment Building Maintenance Professional to join our team at Touchstone Enterprise Ltd. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Cleaning: Regularly sweep, mop, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Waste Management: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and other refuse, and ensure that trash cans and waste containers are emptied regularly.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Appliance Maintenance: Perform minor repairs on appliances and ensure that they are in good working condition.
  • Safety and Security: Conduct regular safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of residents and staff.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair, and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, perform repetitive tasks, and stand for extended periods.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
