Our goal is to deliver an extraordinary experience for our guests, blending adventure, relaxation, and outstanding service.
Role Summary: The Director of Marketing and Public Relations will spearhead the development and implementation of all-encompassing marketing and public relations strategies aimed at enhancing revenue and performance. This position demands a proactive leader with a fervor for hospitality, extensive knowledge of the travel and tourism sector, and the capability to lead and motivate a diverse team. The Director will collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure marketing efforts align with organizational goals and foster growth across both resorts.
Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic Development: Formulate and execute cohesive marketing and PR strategies for both properties. Identify key market segments and devise customized campaigns to attract varied clientele. Assess market dynamics, competitor actions, and customer insights to guide strategic choices. Marketing Initiatives: Create and implement multi-faceted marketing campaigns across digital, print, social media, and email platforms. Employ SEO, SEM, and PPC techniques to enhance online visibility and drive traffic to the resorts' websites. Evaluate and report on the success of marketing initiatives, refining strategies as necessary. Leadership: Collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Brand Strategy to ensure brand consistency and messaging. Public Relations Management: Cultivate and sustain relationships with media representatives, journalists, influencers, and industry stakeholders. Oversee the creation and dissemination of press releases, media kits, and other public relations materials. Organize and coordinate media events, press tours, and other PR activities to generate favorable coverage. Team Development: Lead and guide a team of marketing professionals, promoting a collaborative and innovative work culture. Establish clear objectives and performance indicators for the team, conducting regular assessments and providing constructive feedback. Ensure ongoing professional development for team members through training and growth opportunities. Foster strong partnerships with our agency collaborators. Event Marketing: Manage marketing efforts for events and conferences hosted at both resorts. Develop promotional materials and strategies to optimize attendance and engagement. Collaborate with event coordinators to ensure flawless execution and positive guest experiences. Financial Oversight: Create and oversee the marketing and PR budget, ensuring effective resource allocation. Monitor spending and ROI, making informed decisions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred). 8-10 years of experience in marketing and public relations, preferably within the hospitality sector. Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and PR initiatives. A strong enthusiasm for travel, hospitality, and outdoor activities. Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics.
