Join Our Team as a Café Supervisor

At the center of Whistler Village, our establishment is a dynamic café committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our customers, employees, and the community.

This bustling café offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team and foster a lively atmosphere.

Daily Operations:
  1. Overseeing café operations during shifts, providing exceptional leadership to your team.
  2. Creating staff schedules and managing labor efficiently.
  3. Preparing and serving beverages and food, maintaining cleanliness, and setting a strong example.
  4. Fostering a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for both staff and patrons.
  5. Managing inventory and ordering supplies to ensure customer satisfaction.
Administrative Responsibilities:
  1. Financial oversight – ensuring budgets are met or exceeded.
  2. Community Involvement – actively participating in local events and building positive neighborhood relationships.
  3. Social Responsibility – considering environmental and social impacts in decision-making.
  4. Effective Communication – maintaining professional and respectful interactions with team members, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Training will be provided; however, prior experience in some or all of these areas will be highly regarded.

Who We Are Looking For:

Essential Qualifications:

  1. At least 2 years of experience in a managerial role within a similar environment.
  2. Barista training and experience, with a passion for coffee and knowledge of roasting processes.
  3. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  4. Familiarity with POS and inventory management systems.
  5. Food Safety Level 1 certification or higher.
  6. Serve-it-Right certification.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  2. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  3. Willingness to follow management direction and guidance.
  4. Confidence in delegating tasks and coaching team members.
