Job Title: Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, assisting radiologists, and providing exceptional patient care.

About the Role:
  • Perform MRI procedures, ensuring accurate and safe imaging results
  • Assist radiologists during procedures, providing technical support and expertise
  • Input patient data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS
  • Provide direction and training to student technologists and staff trainees
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program
  • Successful completion of a recognized program in Magnetic Resonance Imaging
  • Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Eligible for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT
