Position Overview

The Food Service Supervisor at 4k & R Holdings Inc. plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our culinary team. This position requires a blend of leadership, organization, and a passion for quality food service.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules efficiently.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff regarding their job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
  • Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates for food service operations.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports as required.
  • Compile food order summaries for the chef.
  • Possess knowledge of the culinary genres relevant to the establishment.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.

Experience Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
