About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at HANAMI RESTAURANTS VENTURES INC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement efficient kitchen operations to meet work schedules and ensure high-quality food and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 staff members who prepare and portion food, providing guidance on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Train staff in culinary skills, kitchen safety, and customer service standards.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, including budget and cost estimates.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
