Job Title: Chef

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to lead our food services team in Winnipeg, MB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our clients and staff
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to ensure efficient operations
  • Train and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with food safety standards and guidelines
  • Work closely with our clients to understand their needs and preferences
  • Conduct regular inventory and quality control checks to ensure high standards are maintained

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in the hospitality/food service industry
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, with a focus on kitchen operations and staff management
  • Food Safe certification and knowledge of HACCP principles
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
