Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and organized Teaching Assistant to support the delivery of our Organizational Public Relations course. The successful candidate will assist the instructor in leading tutorials, overseeing laboratories, and supervising field trips.
Responsibilities- Lead tutorials and oversee laboratories
- Supervise field trips and ensure student safety
- Prepare course materials and assist with grading
- Provide student consultation and support
- Invigilate exams and ensure academic integrity
- Perform other duties as assigned by the instructor
To be considered for this position, applicants must hold a Master's degree in Communications Management or a related field. Previous experience teaching in a professional program is an asset. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Course DescriptionThe Organizational Public Relations course focuses on the application of management theories to public relations, including public relations roles and models, strategic management processes, and organizational characteristics such as participation and authority, culture, diversity, globalization, and change. The course examines the history, research, social effects, and ethics of public relations.
