Job Title: Assistant Professor in Human Resources & Management

McMaster University invites applications for a teaching-track position in the DeGroote School of Business.

Position Overview
  • Teaching-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Human Resources & Management Area
  • Primary role: teaching within an academic environment, with a focus on excellence and innovation in teaching
Key Responsibilities
  • Teach a variety of courses at both the undergraduate and MBA levels, including organizational behavior, human resources management, and HR analytics
  • Develop and deliver courses using innovative teaching technologies, including online courses
  • Contribute to the School's academic programs at both its Hamilton and Burlington locations
  • Participate in events organized by students and the School, and engage in other service activities within the University
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, and/or a related discipline
  • Strong commitment to excellence and innovation in teaching
  • Experience delivering courses and using innovative teaching technologies
  • Awareness of and enthusiasm for teaching innovations, pedagogical scholarship, and other pedagogical activities
