Machine Monitoring Specialist

About the Role:
Pattison Agriculture is seeking a highly skilled Machine Monitoring Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for providing centralized support functions to our locations across Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Machine Monitoring Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Machine Monitoring:
- Managing Expert Alerts for all locations, verifying accuracy through customer contact, and creating work orders as needed.
- Managing Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) through the Machine Health dashboard, verifying accuracy through customer contact, and creating work orders as needed.
- Utilizing Service Advisor Remote, Remote Display Access, Dealer Technical Assistance Center (DTAC), and other John Deere resources to verify Expert Alert/DTC accuracy.
- Remotely pushing required equipment software as needed, working with customers and service departments to ensure success.
- Ensuring JD metrics of Machine Health Monitoring exceed goals.
- Monitoring Modular Telematics Gateway (MTG) movement within and out of the organization.
Tool Management:
- Managing NMQ Tooling needs across all locations.
- Managing manufactured tooling requirements, working with locations and outside vendors to ensure weight-bearing tooling and lifting devices meet OHS standards.
- Monitoring Connected Crane alerts and reporting to locations and Pattison AG Safety Manager.
Technical Communicator:
- Assisting as a Technical Communicator resource for technicians, service managers, and IS departments to help resolve critical product problems.
- Monitoring DTAC case status and advising service and IS departments of needed action.
- Ensuring all necessary information is documented within the CCMS case prior to submission to John Deere.
- Coordinating CCMS cases between technicians and John Deere CCMS factory support as needed.
- Working with John Deere as a partner in quality to help identify emerging product quality concerns and support problem resolution.
- Assisting in training of staff in CCMS/DTAC use.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated outstanding customer service and communications skills.
- Proven experience solving problems effectively.
- Experience using computer software such as Microsoft Office, Dealer Business System, and internet-based systems.
- Ability to self-manage.
- Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.
- Ability to analyze and interpret internal and external reports.
- Valid driver's license required.
- 5+ years' experience in Ag dealership operations with a technical background.
- Understanding of Connected Support and the tools utilized.
