Position Overview

STEWANDY CLEANERS INC. is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician to ensure cleanliness and hygiene across various facilities. This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 35 to 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a pristine environment.
  • Furniture Maintenance: Dust and clean furniture to ensure a tidy appearance.
  • Upholstery Cleaning: Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Fixture Sanitization: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Operational Hygiene: Disinfect operating rooms and other critical areas.
  • Lost and Found Management: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers regularly.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns effectively.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in a similar role or equivalent experience.
  • Certification: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
