Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at THRIVE AUTO COLLISION. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, including sweeping, mopping, and performing minor repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and scrub hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and other refuse.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent overflow and maintain a clean environment.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.
  • Support for Youths: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
