We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at THRIVE AUTO COLLISION. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Facility Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and waste.
- Repair and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
- Housekeeping: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, wash windows, and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
- Snow and Ice Removal: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.
- Support for Youths: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
