Senior Director of Finance and Corporate Services

Rupertsland Institute is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Finance and Corporate Services to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial health and stability of the organization, while also providing strategic leadership and direction to our Corporate Services department.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management: Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure the long-term financial health of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Provide financial planning and analysis support to the CEO and Board of Governors, including the development of financial models and forecasts.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to the CEO and Board of Governors, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Financial Systems and Processes: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and processes, including accounting software and financial reporting tools.
- Corporate Services: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Corporate Services department, including IT, human resources, payroll, and reception services.
- Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of finance and corporate services professionals, including staff training, coaching, and mentorship.
- Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the CEO, Board of Governors, and other senior leaders.
- Education: Post-secondary degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
- Experience: Seven to ten years of direct experience in accounting and administration, with a minimum of five years of experience in a leadership role.
- Skills: Strong financial management and leadership skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
