Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual HR Generalist to join our team at Jonview. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will provide strategic guidance and support to managers and employees across various regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Guidance and Support: Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on human resources management, including performance management, employee relations, and recruitment.
  • Performance Management: Advise managers on performance management processes, including reviews, goal setting, and development plans.
  • Employee Relations: Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to onboarding, for positions in designated regions.
  • HR Systems and Compliance: Maintain and update HR systems, including HRIS, Employee Portal, and employee records, to ensure compliance with employment standards, CNESST/Pay Equity, AODA, and IRCC regulations.
  • Project Support: Participate in HR projects, such as data analysis, compliance tracking, and organizational chart maintenance.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to a positive, supportive, and client-focused team environment.
  • Language Support: Translate documents, announcements, job postings, and other correspondence as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: University degree in Human Resources Management or related field is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years' related experience working in a Human Resources capacity, with a strong background in recruitment, onboarding, training, job evaluation, and employee relations.
  • Language Skills: Fluent and good command of English and French (oral and written).
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment, good judgment and initiative, excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of relevant legislation, including Employment Standards Act, Act respecting labour standards (Quebec), BC Employment Standards Act, Standard Human Rights Code, and AODA.
