Job Title: Director of Community Sustainability Programs

EnviroCentre is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Community Sustainability Programs to lead our team in developing and implementing effective community sustainability programs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental sustainability, community development, and program management.

Job Summary:

The Director of Community Sustainability Programs will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of community sustainability programs that promote environmental sustainability, community engagement, and social responsibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of community development principles, environmental sustainability practices, and program management techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement community sustainability programs that promote environmental sustainability, community engagement, and social responsibility.
  • Lead a team of program managers and coordinators to develop and implement program plans, budgets, and evaluations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, including community groups, businesses, and government agencies.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, including securing funding and managing grants.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in environmental sustainability, community development, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in program management, community development, and environmental sustainability.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful community sustainability programs.
  • Strong understanding of community development principles, environmental sustainability practices, and program management techniques.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with community stakeholders.
