The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the client experience related to personal lines insurance. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Policy Management: Conduct policy changes and endorsements for clients, ensuring precision and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Client Communication: Answer incoming calls and welcome clients who visit our office in person, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Claims Management: Assist clients with reporting claims to the insuring company, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Information Gathering: Respond to carrier requests for information on existing policies, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • ARS System Utilization: Use an ARS system to provide quotes to insureds, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
  • Client Payments: Process client payments and assist with billing inquiries, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to service client requests, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • RIBO License: Hold a RIBO License in good standing, or be willing to obtain one within the first three months of employment.
  • Professionalism and Integrity: Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Attention to Detail: Pay close attention to detail and multitask with a high level of organization and accuracy.
  • Learning and Development: Approach learning and professional development with enthusiasm, seeking opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Education and Experience: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of customer service experience.
