About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at Canyon Flooring Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination
    • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Cost Estimation and Management
    • Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and financial management.
    • Monitor and control project expenses, identifying areas for cost savings and optimization.
  • Site Management and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
    • Establish and maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Quality Assurance and Control
    • Ensure that all construction work meets the required quality standards, adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any quality issues or concerns.
  • Training and Development
    • Provide training and guidance to construction team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
    • Identify opportunities for team members to develop their skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction project management or a related field
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Accurate and organized, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
    • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
    • Reliability and accountability, with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent travel to project sites
  • Work Schedule
    • 30 to 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required
