Job Title: SRE Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled SRE Software Engineer to join our team at Lloyds Banking Group. As a key member of our Engineering platform, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our technical platform.

About the Role

As an SRE Software Engineer, you will be responsible for proactively monitoring and maintaining the stability and performance of our systems and applications. You will diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring smooth operations with minimal disruptions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively monitor and maintain the stability and performance of systems and applications
  • Create and manage comprehensive documentation, ensuring precision, currency, and thoroughness
  • Implement new complex technical solutions within an enterprise environment
  • Provide out of hours support and flexible, independent working
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SRE Software Engineer with a strong background in Mainframe Software Configuration Management. You will have a deep understanding of effective engineering practices and methodologies, as well as experience implementing Mainframe solutions.
