About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SRE Engineer to join our Mainframe Source Code & Deployments team at Lloyds Banking Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for proactively monitoring and maintaining the stability and performance of systems and applications, ensuring smooth operations with minimal disruptions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain the stability and performance of systems and applications
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
  • Create and manage comprehensive documentation
  • Implement new complex technical solutions within an enterprise environment
  • Provide out of hours support and flexible, independent working
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in Mainframe Software Configuration Management, specifically Endevor
  • Knowledge of COBOL, Assembler, CICS, DB2, DB2 SQL, Unix System Services (zOS)
  • Experience implementing Mainframe solutions
  • DevOps advocate with the ability to implement new tools and processes
