Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Companion Caregiver to join our team. As a Companion Caregiver, you will provide personalized support and care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and enhance the overall quality of life for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities: Help clients with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide Companionship: Engage in conversations, play games, and participate in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Assist with Household Chores: Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation tasks.
  • Administer Medications: Assist clients with taking their prescribed medications as directed by their healthcare provider.
  • Transportation: Accompany clients on outings and errands, as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, initiative, judgement, organized, and reliability.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home.
  • Work Site Environment: Non-smoking environment.

  • Criminal Record Check: Required.
  • Reference: Required.
