About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Companion Caregiver to join our team at Khatoon Gova. As a Companion Caregiver, you will provide essential support and care to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as administering medications and providing emotional support.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation, ensuring a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Companionship: Engage in activities with clients, such as reading, watching movies, or going for walks, to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assist clients with grocery shopping, errands, and other tasks, promoting their independence and autonomy.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and a compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
Work Environment

As a Companion Caregiver, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, and may be required to travel to different locations. You will be expected to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and may be required to lift or move clients or equipment.
