About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Companion Caregiver to join our team at Robert Dalton McArthur. As a Companion Caregiver, you will provide personalized support and care to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Errands and Transportation: Accompany clients on outings, run errands, and provide transportation to appointments.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as directed by clients' healthcare providers.
  • Communication: Maintain open and respectful communication with clients, their families, and healthcare providers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home.
