About the Role

Mancor Industries- Royal Windsor Drive is seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Labourer to join our team. As a Metal Fabrication Labourer, you will be responsible for operating metal cleaning equipment, assisting structural steel and platework fitters, and performing various tasks related to metal fabrication.

Key Responsibilities

Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions to ensure a high-quality finish.
Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, and metal machine operators in their tasks.
Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools to achieve a precise finish.
Clean machines and immediate work areas to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
Load and unload vehicles to facilitate the transportation of metal products.
Polish metal products to a mirror finish to meet the company's quality standards.
Read and interpret work orders to understand the requirements of each task.

Work Environment

The work environment is physically demanding, requiring manual dexterity, standing for extended periods, and handling heavy loads. The weight handling capacity is up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
