We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Labourer to join our team at Mancor Industries- Royal Windsor Drive. As a Metal Fabrication Labourer, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the production of high-quality metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal product surfaces.
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions to achieve optimal results.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers in the production process.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools to achieve precise results.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Load and unload vehicles to facilitate the transportation of materials and products.
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish, adhering to quality control standards.
  • Read and interpret work orders to understand production requirements and deadlines.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring manual dexterity and the ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Handle heavy loads, up to 45 kg (100 lbs), as part of the job requirements.
