Job Title: Floor Covering Installer

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at End of The Roll Thunder Bay. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing a variety of floor coverings, including resilient flooring, hardwood flooring, and carpeting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and Prepare Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered and prepare them for installation by cleaning, repairing, and applying adhesives as needed.
  • Measure and Cut Materials: Measure and cut floor coverings to fit specific areas, using specialized tools and equipment.
  • Install Floor Coverings: Install resilient flooring, hardwood flooring, and carpeting, ensuring a high-quality finish and meeting customer expectations.
  • Remove Existing Floor Coverings: Remove existing floor coverings, including old adhesives and underlayment, to prepare surfaces for new installations.
  • Employ Specialized Equipment: Use knee kickers and other equipment to stretch carpeting and ensure a smooth, even finish.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in floor covering installation.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift heavy loads, bend, and crouch.
  • Language: English.
