About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Ecommerce to lead and shape the future of our direct-to-consumer business. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to drive business growth through digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Product Management: Lead a team of web product managers to develop and deliver a product roadmap for our Shopify platform, aligned with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization: Lead initiatives to enhance the website experience, CRM, and overall customer journey to drive business growth.
  • Merchandising & Operations: Collaborate closely with the Operations team to manage DTC inventory, promotions, and optimize digital merchandising on the website.
  • Analytics & Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize existing resources and the current tech stack for data analysis to drive key decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the Digital Team, providing guidance to drive high performance and professional growth.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders, including executives, customers, and internal teams, to gather insights, prioritize needs, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with creative, innovation, marketing, and other departments to ensure successful product development, promotions, and go-to-market execution.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Manage team budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track expenditures to ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints.

Requirements

  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in senior leadership or managing eCommerce P&L, with a proven track record of leading a successful eCommerce team. Managing a subscription business is preferred but not required.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic product plans and make data-driven decisions to achieve business objectives.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data and metrics to drive decision-making and product improvements.
