About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled **Senior Salesforce Technical Architect** to join our Global Wealth Engineering team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure Salesforce solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Deliver Salesforce Solutions**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features and functionalities in Salesforce, ensuring timely and within-budget project execution.
  • **Technical Leadership**: Provide technical guidance and oversight to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver optimal solutions.
  • **Project Management**: Proactively manage diverse projects, from inception to delivery, overseeing execution and ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • **Communication**: Effectively communicate project status, escalations, and technical information to working teams and senior management.
  • **Process Improvement**: Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and the adoption of latest technologies and methodologies.
  • **Problem-Solving**: Identify and resolve complex technical issues, recommending and implementing solutions that meet business needs.
  • **Agile Framework**: Support the Bank's Lean and Agile Framework, ensuring delivery of negotiated products and functions while following Scotiabank standards and methodologies.
  • **Testing and Quality Assurance**: Conduct testing of new software releases to ensure successful implementation with no impact to existing environments.
  • **Client Interaction**: Interact with business clients to resolve and explain system questions and issues.
Requirements
  • **10+ years of Salesforce Experience**: Minimum 1 recent project with a Financial Services Cloud environment.
  • **Salesforce Certifications**: Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Integration Architect, Salesforce App Builder.
  • **Banking/Financial Services Experience**: Previous experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on large insurance or similar industries.
  • **Communication and Interpersonal Skills**: Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders.
  • **Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to analyze complex situations and problems, using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions.
  • **Time Management and Organization**: Good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage high-scale projects.
  • **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
