Job Description

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Architect to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams to deliver features and functionalities in Salesforce.
  2. Project Management: Proactively manage diverse projects from inception to delivery, overseeing execution and ensuring timely completion.
  3. Communication: Effectively communicate project status and escalations to working teams and senior management.
  4. Team Collaboration: Guide and assist team members to deliver optimal solutions on-time and within budget.
  5. Process Improvement: Provide input to the continuous improvement of processes and the adoption of latest technologies and methodologies.
  6. Technical Support: Support applications, evaluate problems, identify actions to be taken, and recommend/implement solutions.
  7. Agile Framework: Perform required duties in support of the Bank's Lean and Agile Framework.
  8. Delivery: Ensure delivery of negotiated product/function while following standards and methodologies.
  9. Testing: Conduct testing of new software releases to ensure successful implementation with no impact to existing environments.
  10. Client Interaction: Interact with business clients to help resolve and explain system questions and issues.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 10+ years of Software Engineer experience with Salesforce CRM, with a minimum of 1 recent project with a Financial Services Cloud environment.
  2. Knowledge: 10+ years of working knowledge of Salesforce tools to execute and manage workflow processes at various stages of the SDLC cycle (e.g. Salesforce DX).
  3. Certifications: Salesforce Certifications are required. Specifically: Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Integration Architect, Salesforce App Builder.
  4. Industry Experience: Previous Banking/Financial Services experience is critical – large insurance is accepted, however telcos/marketing cloud is not what the team is looking for.
Preferred Skills
  1. nCino Credit Origination: Experience with nCino Credit Origination (managed package for Salesforce) – Credit package on top of Salesforce.
Soft Skills
  1. Communication: Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization.
  2. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate and work closely with external vendors.
  3. Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions.
  4. Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction.
  5. Time Management: Good time management and organizational skills to effectively manage high-scale project.
Education
  1. Bachelor's Degree: Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field is required.
  2. Relevant Accreditations: Relevant Salesforce accreditations (Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Integration Architect, Salesforce App Builder).
  3. Financial Services Cloud Certification: Financial Services Cloud certification.
