About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Earl's Restaurant (Sherway Gardens) Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our guests.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Culinary Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional results.
    • Provide guidance and training to ensure that all team members are equipped to deliver high-quality dishes.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to identify areas for improvement.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize kitchen operations.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and adhere to health and safety protocols.
    • Conduct regular health and safety checks to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Diploma or degree in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
  • Skills
    • Proven leadership and culinary skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
