Business Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Governance Specialist to join our team at TD Bank. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective governance and risk management of our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the identification, recommendation, and implementation of improvements to enhance customer experience, availability, and cost reduction in support of client needs.
- Influence product direction, foresee issues, and identify solutions to ensure the delivery of effective client solutions.
- Collaborate with business leaders, IT professionals, and vendors to assess viability and priority of projects and initiatives.
- Ensure appropriate security levels are established and maintained for processes, information exchange, and system implementations.
- Interface with audit to ensure all artifacts are in order.
- Drive and manage controls environment, covering change management, production implementation, compliance, and audit controls, and business continuity.
- Participate in regulatory examinations and external/internal audits, reviewing, packaging, and providing information for department executives.
- Conduct meaningful research, analysis, and assessment of Compliance program activities at the functional level.
- Deliver relevant subject matter expertise and Compliance advice to business Compliance partners.
- Prepare summaries, presentations, briefing notes, and documentation to effectively report on the status of the Compliance program.
- Undergraduate degree or relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or CISA.
- Graduate degree, preferred.
- 7+ years relevant experience.
- NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF), ITIL, Cloud.
- IT Risk and controls background (experience in Audit or lines of defense processes).
- Advanced knowledge of business and technology standards.
- IAM understanding (IAM products, relevant technology, and industry best practices).
- Demonstrated ability to assess priorities quickly and adapt as needed.
- Prior experience with building pRCSA's.
- Works autonomously as the lead and guides others within area of expertise.
- Strong organizational awareness with an ability to influence outside of a direct reporting relationship by balancing viewpoints of various stakeholders.
