Business Governance Specialist

At TD Bank, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Governance professional to join our team. As a Business Governance specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of risk and compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement governance frameworks and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to senior management on risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of governance and risk management practices.
- Provide guidance and support to business units on governance and risk management best practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry associations.
- 7+ years of experience in business governance, risk management, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or CISA.
- Advanced knowledge of business and technology standards, including NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF) and ITIL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
