Business Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Governance Specialist to join our team at TD Bank. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective governance and risk management of our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the development and implementation of governance frameworks and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and implement controls to ensure the integrity of our business processes.
- Provide subject matter expertise on governance and risk management to business stakeholders, and develop training programs to enhance their knowledge and skills.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with governance and risk management policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT professionals, and vendors, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, finance, or risk management.
- Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or CISA.
- 7+ years of experience in governance and risk management, with a strong background in IT risk and controls.
- Advanced knowledge of business and technology standards, including NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF) and ITIL.
- Demonstrated ability to assess priorities quickly and adapt as needed.
