Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Canadian Tire Gas+ Kenora (Store #1016). As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance with purchases.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap area and surrounding areas.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
  • Experience: Previous retail experience is an asset.
