We are seeking a highly skilled Manager, Direct Procurement to join our team at EightSix Network. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing suppliers, implementing procurement initiatives, and ensuring the effective management of costs and risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement procurement initiatives and execution milestones
- Measure progress and work with suppliers to reduce costs and risks
- Ensure optimization of supply quality and reliability
- Manage the competitive tendering of suppliers and evaluate their performance
- Monitor the market to identify new suppliers and map strategic suppliers
- Implement evaluation criteria for supplier selection
- Implement a sustainable cost reduction program and manage supplier risk according to defined criteria
- Analyze supplier risks and propose recommendations to optimize costs
- Ensure that contracts are set up and executed in accordance with agreed agreements
- Ensure compliance with pricing conditions, delivery schedules, and payment terms
- Manage contract amendments and terminations
- Build trust with internal stakeholders to effectively meet their needs
- Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure internal customer satisfaction
- Responsible for purchasing information in SAP to maintain the integrity of data relating to purchasing conditions, prices, and sourcing strategies
- Contribute to the budgeting process by providing information on cost prices and projected budgets
