Job Title: Assistant Director - Procurement


Description:


The Assistant Director of Procurement will be responsible for optimizing procurement expenses by managing the organization's supply of products, materials, and/or services while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Define and manage strategic procurement needs for the organization
  • Develop procurement strategies and deploy the centralization/decentralization model
  • Supervise procurement management and operations, including tender preparation, procurement analysis, and inventory management
  • Develop procurement and tendering policies and ensure their implementation
  • Oversee the development of procurement and tendering processes that respect the regulatory framework

Requirements:



  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field of study
  • At least six years of relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of public and para-public procurement regulations and requirements
  • Strong understanding of procurement and tendering processes
  • Knowledge of procurement systems
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong commitment to compliance and transparency
  • Fluency in English and French (oral and written)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
